Full Details
This is a unique, powerful and sometimes even life-changing programme designed to help you to achieve success in your dealings with others at work and beyond.
Personal Effectiveness in your interactions with colleagues, clients or socially is about communicating assertively. Assertiveness is not about being more aggressive, rather it’s about finding ways to be taken seriously that are also compatible with your individual personal style. It does mean being able to communicate your thoughts, feelings and beliefs clearly and confidently so that your position is understood and appreciated.
This programme offers the opportunity to analyse and assess what drives your personal style and to unpick the patterns which tend to follow. It explores ways to adapt your behaviours so that you can make the impact you choose whilst also remaining authentic to yourself.
Throughout the course there will be opportunities to discuss particular personal ‘nightmare scenarios’ and to practice strategies and skills for dealing with them. You will also learn the elements vital to making an impact on someone in less than a minute along with a range of other communication and influencing techniques.
Group sizes are kept small and together with an experienced and friendly trainer you will find this day a relaxed and supportive learning experience that could be of use to you throughout your career.
