Course Rationale

Blogs are online journals written and published on the web, usually by individuals but also by interest groups and organisations. Without editorial constraint and sometimes with huge and loyal followings, bloggers (blog authors) can command significant influence that can make or break a new product or service that they write about.

This workshop teaches busy marketing and PR people the secrets of identifying the most influential bloggers and how to engage with the blogosphere. This is a fast moving and often neglected area – but one which could be the difference between a huge success and an abject failure for your new product, service or even your business. A vital skill for 21st century marketers and PR people

A Note from the Trainer

"We had so much interest in the use of blogs and how to interact with influential bloggers on our Web Marketing and Digital Marketing courses that we decided to put together a half day programme looking purely at this important and exciting area.

"Whether you are planning to create your company's own corporate blog or you want to have some influence over what is said about you out there in cyberspace you'll find everything you need here - plus the opportunity to discuss any specific concerns with us and fellow delegates throughout the course."
