A Note from the Trainer

"My experiences working as part of teams, working groups and on executive boards has taught me the importance of effective meetings...and the dangers of ineffective ones.  This course draw on my experience of what makes an effective meeting, but will also take account of the practical challenges faced by delegates in their daily work.  Although the formal elements of a meeting – agenda, rules of operation, minutes etc –are very important, I will also highlight the importance of getting the human dimension right- encouraging participation, maintaining a balance of inputs, recognising and dealing with negative attitudes and prejudice.

"I am sure you will find this course practical and empowering.
